We Are All Designers

We Are All Designers was organized in collaboration with the Children’s Assessment Center (CAC) to create a supportive, joyful space where children and families could explore the worlds of design, technology, and architecture together. Designed specifically for young participants who have experienced traumatic events, the program offered hands-on activities that empowered creativity and encouraged discovery.

Children experimented with 3D printing, explored immersive environments through virtual reality, customized their own tote bags, and even enjoyed stacking miniature real bricks—introducing them to the fundamentals of building and making. Families participated side-by-side, forming moments of connection and play through shared creativity.

By blending technology, art, and tactile exploration, the event aimed to foster confidence, curiosity, and a sense of possibility, reminding every child that they have the imagination and potential to be a designer.
